Beauty of Romania is a beauty contest which distinguishes itself from the other beauty pageants both by its concept and logistics as well as by the values it promotes. Beauty of Romania started in 2013 with its first edition at the National Opera House of Timisoara, Romania. The special gest of the contest was mr. Zamir Huseynov.
At the first edition we have had 17 contestants who went through different trials during the competition: cocktail dress, bathing suit, choreography and evening dress.
The podium was occupied by:
• 1st place and winner – Petronela Matei – who represented Romania in Kirghistan.
• Second place (1st runner up) – Chiper Ioana
• Third place (2nd Runner up) – Ichim Lavinia
