The first edition of the “Dress of the World” contest took place in Timisoara, Romania in year 2014 at the Regional Business Center.
Ten guests from North Koreea, Azerbaijan, Kazahstan, Russia, Croatia and Romania formed the jury – led by Catalin Botezatu.
The designers, from 15 countries including Romania have displayed imaginative creations made out of vaporous materials, with daring cuts and unusual accessories. The bare-back dresses were largely preferred, and from a chromatic point of view the creators didn’t chain imagination.
The podium was occupied by:
1st place – Azerbaijan – Egyptian style dress
2nd place – Kazahstan
3rd place – Russia
